Question of the Day

Abhinav used to ask Story before his sleep. We used to say some stories and Moral of the Story. When we are short of Story content, I used to allow Abhinav to ask Questions or Spell bee game. Yesterday, Abhinav Asked Two Questions. I were almost blinking. but somehow managed to answer it.

Two Questions:

Why Head Ache is Coming? Or What is the reason for Head Ache?

Whether Tree will die or Will it touch Sky due to endless growth? ( He also told " not by Axe". How tree will die?)

Me and Priya felt another Proud time. I answered him up to his satisfaction. But i also requested to ask him to his teacher.

Chocolate Saga & Smartness

Abhinav stays in his school Computer Lab after his school hours. Priya Completes her Daily School chores and both return to home. All Computer staff hangouts in their Computer Lab and Abhinav also joins them occasionally.

One fine day, Priya’s friend distributed chocolate to all her colleagues in computer Lab. Since Abhinav had cough, Priya instructed not accept chocolate and moved from that place. Her Colleague was holding chocolate and turned her face to other staff for gesturing.

Abhinav quickly took that Chocolate from her hand and replied “Thanks Da”.  “Da” is the hangout word which will be joined with slang words between colleagues. Priya asked him for using that Word. He replied that “So you all assume that you took from her hand”.

Priya and her friends laughed for his smartness cum innocence.

Drumstick Leave Adai and Magnet

I understand your surprise on the title which is bringing relation between two unrelated objects. Kids really derive relations from anything because their basics are very strong (if provided rightly). Abhinav proved the relation between Drumstick Leave and Magnet.

At our Home, we all enjoy Drumstick Leave Adai almost every week because of its Aroma, Taste, health benefits and Ease of availability. It can go with Ghee, Country Sugar and Avial. Sometime I eat just Adai without any side dish.

If I am right, the health benefit of Drumstick Leave Adai is Protein Rich (due to Cereals), Iron rich & Vitamin A (Drumstick Leave). It also helps in cleansing of Stomach.

Abhinav used to help his mother for plucking Drumstick leave from Drumstick tree in our street. Priya educated him by telling the health benefits.

It happened that Abhinav took magnets and tried to check the affair of Magnet with his body. We told that it will not get attracted or reflected.

“Abhinav quickly answered I just got Iron from Drumstick Leave Adai, Magnet should get attraction with my Body”.

As usual, I have readymade answer of “Blinking”. We all Laughed and proud because Abhinav just derived relationship between Drumstick Leave Adai and Magnet.

Plumber Vs Gumber

Somehow Aathisudi is not continued as bedtime story replacement for Abhinav. I certainly will do after he returns from summer vacation. Yesterday, Priya was teaching Abhinav about Person, Duties and their Tools. He knew already most of it.
Conversation as Follows

Priya: People who installs and service water Pipe, Drainage Pipe...etc called Plumber. Example: Our Shower, Wash basin pipe...etc
Abhinav: Hmm.
Priya: People who does to cut, shape and fix Wood (timber)...etc called Carpenter. Example: our Window, Door...etc
Abhinav: Hmm.
Priya: Who will have Scissor as their tools?
Abhinav: In no time, he replied Barber and Tailor.
Priya: People who does construction by Brick and Cement called " Mason". Example: Our House also Built by Mason.
Abhinav: Our house is built by house owner....ha ha ha..
Priya: Trying to Educate him about House Owner hired Masons...but Abhinav simply ignored it...
Abhinav: If our AC (Air Conditioner) broke down in two pieces, Who will fix it?
Priya: Technician
Abhinav: No Mummy. Gumber will fix. He will have Gum (Glue). he will join Two Pieces by using Gum (Glue). So Gumber Fixes Air Conditioner.

Me and Priya started laughing along with Abhinav.

Harris Questions

Subburaj is one of my best friend. He is father of Harris. He shared few smart questions which was asked by Harris. I thought of Sharing this in my blog and hence so.
Conversation between Subburaj and Harris as follows.
Question 1:
Harris: How mouth is speaking ?

Subburaj: Because mouth has Tongue. it speaks. Subbu also demonstrated with his mouth about difficulty (impossibility) in Speaking if Tongue does not move inside mouth.
Harris: (Looks convinced, but not fully). Okay. Then why Animals are not speaking though it has Mouth and Tongue?
Subburaj: Started blinking like me and he replied that " God does not bless them for speaking ability".
Harris: Then i pray to god for animals. so they can speech.


Question 2:
Subbu is driving, Harris is also with him. Conversation as below when Subbu stopped his bike due to Traffic Signal (Signal is faulty, hence Commuters followed Signal by understanding)

Harris: Signal should be either Red, green or Amber. But here, why all are on?
Subbu: Signal is faulty. Thats why?
Harris: Faulty means, nothing should be ON. hey, you are lying....
Subbu: Aaramichutanda...Blinking and started bike....

" Do Work Properly Daddy"

Summer Vacation:
From March 20, Abhinav is having Summer Vacation until June first week. It is a wonderful time for kids. Abhinav is enjoying at Indoor and Outdoor based on time. Lets come to the Point.
During his School days, Abhinav and Priya Used to Leave home before me. Conversation will be like this while leaving house.

Me: Bye Abhinav ! Bye Priya !
Me: Abhinav, Please do Study Properly and Enjoy the day with your friends.
Abhinav: Bye daddy !
Since Summer Vacation, I (only) leave home: Conversation will be like this while I am leaving house.
Abhinav: Bye Daddy !
Abhinav: Do Work Properly !
Me: Silently accepting his advice and " Bye Abhinav, Enjoy your day "

Do I have Long Hand? Girls Act?

Long Hand

It happened during Last Saturday when me and Abhinav were having our Recreation time at Park. Abhinav and My Mom had conversation on mobile. Excerpts of Conversation below.

Abhinav : We bought Laddu and Jilabi in Saravana bhavan Sweet Stall. I saw Big Laddu in stall.
My Mom : Abhinav, I also want it. Can you give?
Abhinav : You are in Andipatti. How can I give from Chennai? Do I have that much long hand to give Laddu from here? You come here, i will give....
My Mom : Lauging on his innocence. (Feeling Happy)

Girls Act
Conversation continued on Mobile.

Abhinav : what Gokul is doing? (Gokul is my Younger Bro)
My Mom : He is Ironing his Shirt.
Abhinav : Ironing is Girls Activity. Why he is doing? Abhinav Giggled and he also told that " Is Gokul a Girl?"....ha ha ha
My Mom : Blinking what to answer.....And..At your house your mom is helping your father. But here i dont know how to Iron? So Gokul is Doing.

My Mom is trying to educate him that it is not girls job. it is common job. But abhinav did not listen to her.

PS: Kids are Memorizing each act and visuals " How it happened?" and it forms their base. If any wrong base, it certainly impacts in near future.

What is L&T?

I am Trapped

Abhinav asked me to miss office for a day. I told him that i will not get salary if I am not regular to Office.

Abhinav: What is Salary?
Me : Salary means Money which we get monthly for working in office.
Abhinav: Who gives your Salary? daddy!!
Me : L&T pays my salary.
Abhinav: L&T is one display in front of your office. How it will give Salary?
Me : OoHh. So i changed to " My Boss gives me Salary "
Abhinav: Whether Boss sits near to you?
Me : Nope. he sits little far from my place (Since abhinav visited my cubicle once, he knows where i sits in office)
Abhinav: is your Boss big or small?
Me : I replied He is Big?
Abhinav: replied with Laugh, So your Boss eats more food...Ha ha ha...
Me : also joined with his laugh.

PS: One irresponsible reply from our side make big difference in Kids mind. So we should not silly in answering. Even, if they dont understand, we should explain it properly and patiently. Kids are building their Information archive. it should be free from flaws.
