LPG Subsidy In Details

Introduction:

PAHAL stands for Pratyaksh Hanstantrit Labh.

DBTL stands for Direct Benefits Transfer For LPG Consumers Scheme. PAHAL. DBTL has been introduced to curb the diversion of the subsidized LPG. Under the scheme, Consumers will pay the market price for the domestic cylinder and the subsidy will be transferred directly to their bank account. This removes the incentive to divert the domestic LPG cylinders, which moved in the supply chain at almost half of their real market price. 

Enrolment:

Regarding Enrolment you can find more details from Ministry of Petroleum. There are two ways for enrolment 

Aadhar based -         Link you bank account & aadhar Number, LPG id & aadhar Number 

Non Aadhar based - Link your LPG id and Bank Account

Methodology:

Advance:

After Enrolment and upon your First booking, your bank account will be credited with " A one-time advance called Permanent Advance". For the year 2013-14, the Permanent Advance is notified as Rs. 568. It will remain with the consumer till the time of termination of connection, when it will be finally adjusted. LPG consumers who were provided permanent advance on a previous scale will not be eligible for any differential payment on account of the revision in the permanent advance. 

Subsidy:

Under PAHAL (DBTL), the LPG consumer can receive subsidy in his bank account. Such a consumer will be called CTC (Cash Transfer Compliant) once he joins the scheme and is ready to receive subsidy in the bank account. Based on Prevailing rate, the Subsidy amount is  Rs.299.68.

Prevailing Cap:

Presently Per year Cap is 12 Cylinders.

Grievance Redressal:

1) For getting any information, providing feedback and for registering any complaint

related to PAHAL (DBTL) consumers can

a. Call toll free 1800-233-3555 number of the OMCs’ call center or 

b. Visit their LPG distributor and fill the complaints/suggestions in Form 6 (see annexure for the form). This form shall be available with each LPG distributor as well as on each OMC portal that can be accessed through www.MyLPG.in. 

PS: As on January First Week, there are 16 Crores Connection, 8.45 Crores connection already registered under PAHAL connection. Only 19312 connection registered for "Opt out of Subsidy", it is around 0.012%. Remaining all people  thinking that they deserve for Subsidy.

Chennai Book Fair 2015

Last Sunday, we went to Chennai Book Fair 2015 which is my First book fair visit in Chennai. It is really very big and Lots & lot of books. There are around 700 stalls with plenty of options to choose.

Parking facility is good even in Sunday rush hours with nominal charge of Rs 10.

Abhinav was running around Fair and gave us lot of disturbance. so we cant focus and my fractured leg hurts more if i stand long time in a same place., 

Took Meals at " Sapida Vanga" stall. the Taste is not bad not good style. But it tastes better than our canteen :).

Abhinav used to like & draw animals much than other things. YouTube has Channel "Art for Kids Hub" Which is very good and easy for Kids who wants to learn drawing animals.

Don't Want "O+ve" Blood !!!

As most of the readers aware, Kids have the Pointer in their brain  and they resume exactly in the morning what they paused before sleep. They also resume exactly when they pause some thinking for some reasons. 

I am not sure about the Medical Fact; but i heard from My friends, Relatives and Colleagues Kids behave in a similar way. Abhinav also No exceptional to do similar Pause and Play in between his Sleep. Probably we will also fall under the same category without our conscious knowledge.

Today Morning, the conversation as goes below right after he woke up whereas i was still on bed with half sleep.

Abhinav: Daddy, Why Dinesh Identity card does not have anything about his Blood like i am having Blood - O+ve? Is that mean " He doe's not have Blood?" 

Me: Ohh. My dear Son. without blood, we cant live. Probably he does not know about his blood group while collecting identity card details.

Abhinav: Ok.Ok. Daddy, " I don't want O+ve Blood any more". I want to have AB+ve.

Me: It is not possible and i quizzed him why?

Abhinav: AB+ve can accept all blood whereas O+ve cant.

Me: You should be Proud enough to Have O+ve because You can donate your Blood to needy peoples. Giving is more important than Taking. Me and Mummy is always available for donating blood to you just in case. So be happy for, you belongs to "Universal Donor Group".

Abhinav: Ok Daddy....

PS: Abhinav is having Encyclopaedia which he picks up randomly and asks questions. I remembered that  i explained him about blood group during Oct/Nov 2014 ( during My Fracture Bed rest days).

Which is More Important?

I used to educate Abhinav about the importance of Environment whenever I am having the Opportunity. Abhinav knows about the Importance of Trees, Impact of Plastics, Water conservation and Electricity savings.

In Puthiya Thalaimurai, they are doing fantastic job on " Water Conservation". Though, we are not following it regularly, but we used to see almost 60% of episodes due to peak broadcast time. I was just decoding the TV message to Abhinav that  " Water has 70% of total earth; But out of 70%, 3% only non-salt waters; Out of 3%, only 1% is potable water". Remaining all (99%) waters are in the form of Glaciers, Sea, Ocean, moisture and Ice-caps at Poles. So I told him that " we need to do Rain water harvesting and Grow more Trees".

He understood the essence of it. He quickly asked me "
Then Why we are having doors, Cots and Windows in wood ???"

That's real tricky question to answer it; Because Wood is like Fast Moving Consumer Product based on last 10 years growth in Housing and New Industry. We are just consuming Trees in the form of " Timer for House & Other Building construction, for rural Cooking, Paper...etc.

I received one email this morning  from my dearest friend who is placed in Bangalore ( India's Silicon Valley). All young Generations are having smart phone with 3G/2G data connectivity ( atleast almost); So does my friend who is having Samsung Smartphone. He lost his mobile and he sent me an email for not to contact.
